# Licensing

How licensing works for Krisp SDKs and the Krisp API.

## SDKs

Krisp SDK is a commercial product. Developers will need to obtain a commercial license from Krisp Technologies, Inc to integrate the SDK into their products.

You can apply for a license on [Krisp developer website](https://krisp.ai/developers/).

## API

The [Krisp API](https://sdk-docs.krisp.ai/docs/realtime-api-overview) does not require integrating an SDK. Access is tied to the API key from your [Developers Portal](https://developers.krisp.ai/) dashboard (sign up there if you don't have an account): your backend uses it to create short-lived session tokens for the WebSocket endpoints.
