# Voice Translation Rate Limiting

## Endpoints in scope

| GET    | `/v2/sdk/voice-translation/languages` | Global rate limit       |
| POST   | `/v2/sdk/voice-translation/start/api` | Global rate limit       |
| WSS    | `wss://streaming.krisp.ai/vt`         | Concurrent sessions cap |

## Global rate limit (700 RPM)

A global limit of **700 requests per minute** applies to all REST endpoints. Requests above this rate return HTTP `429`.

**Enterprise customers:** Contact support to whitelist your IP address and bypass this limit.

## Error codes

| HTTP | error\_code                     | Cause                                           |
| ---- | ------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| 429  | —                               | Global rate limit exceeded (700 RPM)            |
| 403  | `VT_CONCURRENCY_LIMIT_EXCEEDED` | Too many simultaneous sessions for your account |
| 402  | —                               | Balance exhausted or subscription expired       |
